On a mission to make healthcare more child-friendly through unique medical toys.
As a pediatric oncology nurse, I would put pretend IVs in my patient’s stuffed animals and it made the WORLD of difference when I could demonstrate on a toy first.
The medical world can be scary and intimidating for kids (and adults, honestly). The only way we can reduce fear is to educate, and children learn best through play!
They need access to toys that help them normalize their experiences, and they need to be able to learn about their medical treatments in a non-threatening way.
