Refund policy

Shipping All orders are processed and shipped within 4 business days of order placement unless the product itself lists a different turn-around-time (I.E. Custom ordered doll-sized medical devices).

Returns/Refunds If you believe we made a mistake with your order, or you are unhappy with a product, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order.

Ordered in Error If an order was made by mistake, the store can be emailed at Mary@TheButterflyPig.com, and asked to cancel WITHIN 30 minutes of making the order. If within 30 minutes of making your order, you are eligible for a return less our fee from your payment form (this varies from 3-6% give or take depending on what checkout method was used). If beyond 30 minutes, there is a possibility your order is already being processed.

Refunds You are required to pay the return shipping unless otherwise agreed for us to take on this cost. Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded for any reason.

Shipping your refunded items
To return your product, you should contact mary@thebutterflypig.com for the most up to date return address.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you would like us to send you a label, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your credit. Original ship costs from us to you will also be deducted from your credit.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Shipping Damages We take the utmost care to package your products carefully and securely. If the products are damaged during the shipping process due to abuse or neglect of the post office, we are not to be held accountable.

Even though we will not be liable for these unique scenarios, please DO e-mail us with a picture of how the box/product arrived WITHIN 3 days of delivery of the order. We will do what we can to contact the delivery service to help resolve the scenario. (On a case by case basis, we may be able to offer replacement)
